Balled Poem
Today for reading we worked on this task about ballad poems. We watched this ballad poem about Charlotte Anne and her difference compared to other girls. She was a woman back in the 1870s who, unlike the other women wore trousers and boots instead of skirts or dresses. She also went into the forest to cut down trees for a living. By her actions she Proved that women were as capable as men were.

Your group has definitely put some thought into this analysis Paige. Your examples show that your collaborative discussions were focused and linked to the text. I have always loved this ballad. It tells a great story of life in early NZ.
Good to see you are learning history love mum
